@DeionSanders@Depend Thanks for this Coach Prime. As a Buff ('92) and a urologist your candor and transparency not only means a lot but also gives hope and encouragement to so many men and women facing the same challenges. Sko Buffs!
@UTSWUrology An outstanding resident and surgeon and well suited to the improvisational nature of GU reconstruction. Confident Jon will make a lasting impact!
@jfunkmd@UAUrology A testament to the legacy and impact you have had on the residents and our program that the residents have chosen to name the annual teaching award -The Joel Funk Faculty Teaching Award.
Your commitment to education and mentorship has clearly left an indelible mark!
IYKYK! โNo more clicks for physiciansโ has been my mantra for the last 5 years. I literally sit with admin and show them how some change adds 2 clicks. Thatโs 2 clicks too many. Burnout involves a keyboardโฆ..
Today marks the completion of my 50th RPLNDs in this clinical year. From primary to postchemo, from modified to bilateral template, from routine RPLNDs to mass >30cm, I am incredibly grateful to have received such training under Drs Cary and Masterson. @IUuro@IU_UroOnc
A mix of pride and sadness. You've been more than a colleague-a true friend, constant source of support, and have left an imprint on all of us. Excited for your new chapter. No doubt your talent and hard work will make a difference wherever you go. Shine bright my Musketeer
This topic was timely for my last Grand Rounds @UAUrology
Iโm excited to announce that I will be joining the @UABUrology team @UABHeersink this summer! Thank you @thomaschi8 for the opportunity and belief that we will build a Mecca for BPO mgmt!
โIn large corporations, the unethical person achieving metrics is often rewarded more than someone doing more good in the long run. This is due to the lack of instruments measuring intrinsic or non-material valueโ

Recently my professional integrity was questioned, followed by being told that sharing my pride in our residentsโ growing ability is a detriment to my practice. Let me be clear: The residents in our program are my profesional โWHYโ. I wonโt be shamed for celebrating them.
@SocietyGURS Reconstructive Urology employs so much improvisational techniques to find solutions to problems.
Big time FOMO as I see the posts, look forward to not missing this impactful meeting in the future!
@gpollock9 @CanesDavid The โphysician resourceโ call I got at midnight didnโt have the brevity as your call. I chose not to give the dreaded โheads upsโ to you that rarely does anything but interrupt any further sleep until they arrive.
