@PSPCLPb I applied for a new permanent meter connection and paid the fees online. My file was processed after significant delay and later rejected stating only temporary connection is required at my site.

DFS thinks, Only top 5% work for Bank profitability & performance, while public sector banks run on each & every individuals from top to bottom. Discreminatory PLI is another step towards privatization.

It's been more than a week and folks @_groww can't solve a simple issue.

I am not able to download updated capital gains report. Everytime I download, I see the report till 24th Feb 2026. There seems to be some technical issue at your end.
It is getting very frustrating now!

My son has been boycotted by kids in our lane. The reason - we (yes, both of us) started playing football everyday with a Nepali kid whose father is a servant in one of the neighbouring houses.

For context, in my lane - almost everyone (barring yours truly) has a business, net worth well over 100 CR, have either BMW, Audi or Volvo as their cars, most houses have multiple servants & spend lavishly on parties regularly.

BUT they consider it as "beneath their standards” for their kids to play with a servant's kid?

Let that sink in.

This is not about money.
This is not about success.
This is about classism dressed up as culture and values.

We teach our kids English accents, global exposure, and the right schools

BUT we quietly pass down the ugliest inheritance of all:
the belief that dignity depends on surname, salary, or the job your father does.

We may have overcome casteism, but will ever overcome our shallow mindsets of economic inequality & status symbols?

I understand your sentiments, but the reality inside government service is quite different these days.

From the outside, government jobs look peaceful.
From the inside, it’s controlled chaos in slow motion.

People still think government service is peace and prestige. In reality, it’s pressure wrapped in protocol.

You sign files you don’t believe in, attend meetings that lead nowhere and report to bosses who are interested in everything else other than your report.

Honesty isolates you, and integrity invites trouble. Your values are obstacles for the "smooth functioning of the system".

Your work touches lives, but rarely earns respect. You work for the public who has already judged you from their bedroom.

You serve the system, yet the system never stands for you. Corruption walks freely, while sincerity walks carefully.

You begin with fire in your heart and retire with a desire of ending your life in a fire.

It’s not a peaceful life. It’s a silent war, fought every single day.

PS: I am not saying that this is applicable to every government official. But I can definitely say that majority of the meritorious, honest and patriotic officers feel in a similar way.
