Interested in understanding the variances in embryonic development and stem cells between mice and humans, and how these differences impact the formation of integrated stem cell-based embryo models? Delve into our lab's Catherine Dupont latest review! https://t.co/bmreEMUOqE
An amazing Troppo Breve meeting just finished with all NOCI members in Lochem.
4 amazing days full of discussions for directions and collaborations. Special thanks to the organizers @F_deVrij, @GribnauLab and Ellen Thomassen.

We believe DCM-TM is a powerful technology for tracing genome-wide gene transcription and enhancer activity back in time without relying on predictions or the requirement to isolate stem cells. Read our paper to learn more on our findings! 🤩
After many years of hard work, our DCM time machine paper is finally published in @NatureBiotech! Ruben Boers, Joachim Boers, @Beatrice__Tan, @Mariekevleeuw, @gribnau_joost and others developed a novel technology for whole-genome cell state tracing https://t.co/LorqulspRt
DCM-Polr2b also labels active enhancers, which show a coordinated timing with nearby gene activity. We used the gene and enhancer maps to predict transcription factor activity and study the changes in chromatin landscape and lineage decision-making during intestinal homeostasis.
We believe this research can greatly contribute to the research into developmental events! Thank you everybody that contributed to this study! @ErasmusMC@AnZwijsen Enjoy reading!
We are extremely excited to present the amazing EXT embryoid work Catherine Dupont, @Beatrice__Tan, Olivier Schäffers and others published this week in @ScienceAdvances. We managed to optimize protocols to create the post efficient protocol yet!

The EXT embryoids could be grown to spatially and morphologically resemble up to E7.5 embryos. Day-7 ETX embryoids can display a headfold and formation of
the heartgut region, even in non organogenesis directed culture conditions.
New dropbox has been set up at Erasmus University Medical Center @erasmusuni in Rotterdam, NL! Pickups are Mondays at 3pm, located in the coldroom in the Ee tower (Ee 964). Thanks to Esmee Brevé for hosting this new box! 👩🔬👨🔬🧑🔬
