@Favgirll134 Hi there do you have telegram

[Aberdare Referee Society @AberdareSociety]

Young and eager to develop, Carson made the switch from playing to officiating at an early age and hasn’t looked back.

We’re looking forward to watching him progress and, who knows, maybe one day challenge Alun Thomas for incredible record of most consecutive seasons!

[Aberdare Referee Society @AberdareSociety]

Next up is our Chairman,

Away from the pitch, Marco is dedicated to mentoring and developing our members, while also playing a huge role in strengthening the governance and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Thanks for everything you do, Marco!

[Aberdare Referee Society @AberdareSociety]

Up next is Wayne!

Wayne keeps our finances in check and is everyone's favourite person at Christmas, when he hands out the budget for a members' social.

Thanks for all your hard work, Wayne. Our very own Money Man and trusted keeper of the purse strings!

[Aberdare Referee Society @AberdareSociety]

Experience is invaluable in any referee society, and our President, Roger, has a wealth of it to share with the next generation of officials.

No longer actively officiating, he remains a dedicated mentor to our members, offering guidance and support to younger referees.

[Aberdare Referee Society @AberdareSociety]

Next up is Alun

Society sponsor and the longest-serving member still actively refereeing!

An incredible 42 seasons!

His dedication is something to be admired.
He's slowed down a little over the years, his passion, commitment, and love for refereeing remain as strong as ever.

Meet the Referee

First up, it's Ieuan Wynne!

Fresh from a fantastic 2025/26 season, Ieuan earned promotion to Level 4A and capped it off by taking home not one, but two society awards in recognition of his outstanding efforts last season.

🏆 TERRY DRING CUP CHAMPIONS🏆

A contingent of our members participated in the annual @CardiffReferees quiz cup last night.

After a very close battle with the current champions, the Aberdare members were very pleased to be declared champions and come away with the trophy.

@NoelMooney13 football is growing in Wales, yaay! You need more referees, however, do you think it's fair & reasonable not to pay new & up and coming referees for 8 to 10 weeks when they have provided their services to FAW football tournaments?
Yes I am aware of at least 2 cases.

[Trevor Wallace @wrevortallace]
