@kbjunior11@PhysicsHawk I agree Keenan. We can't make an assumption like this with only one experiment. I also agree that counting while having a fever was dumb.
#feynmanchat1920
@PhysicsHawk When we don't have fevers we usually can't count the seconds in a minute on time. I don't know what this guy was thinking because obviously when we are feverish be off even more. Plus he can't conclude something like that based on one result. This is crazy to me!

@CadeTischer@PhysicsHawk Great idea Cade, I often watch documentaries on things I know nothing about. Its a great way to become familiar with a topic. #feynmanchat1920
@PhysicsHawk I don't usually enjoy reading but it is really good for your brain and something that I need to do more often. But I really enjoy watching documentaries and I try to watch as many as I can because they keep me interested and they are great way to expand my mind. #feynmancht1920
@caro_physics@PhysicsHawk I completely agree Caroline! I also think it is interesting to really exam how every brain is different and how we comprehend and see things differently.
@PhysicsHawk I think it shows just that we are all different and God made us separately. We are all good at different things and our brains are all made in different ways. I think that it is interesting how we all have different limitations.
#feynmanchat1920
@CadeTischer@PhysicsHawk I agree Cade, he went above and beyond and experimented over and over. I couldn't agree more that it showed his dedication. #feynmanchat1920
@PhysicsHawk Feynman's method was better because he didn't just do the experiment once or even twice he did it many times. This to me furthers the credibility of his claims and discoveries. It also shows his interest and dedication.
#feynmanchat1920
@kbjunior11@PhysicsHawk I agree Keenan. I think its good to surround yourself with people who have opposing views but are willing to talk it out. I think there is a lot of value in that.
#feynmanchat1920
@PhysicsHawk If you haven't noticed, Cade and I "debate" a-lot. And even though I win 99.9% of the time, he did change my mind on running especially when it comes to its difficulty. He showed me that it is an incredibly difficult sport and one that many people overlook. #feynmanchat1920
@TischerCade@PhysicsHawk There is no benefit in throwing a ton of words at a class, quizzing them, and then barely using the terminology again. That's not how people retain information. For me, it can take weeks of repetition of a concept before I actually retain the info.
#feynmanchat1920
@PhysicsHawk In elementary school, they used to give us lists of vocab words we had to learn how to spell and memorize the definitions. I would just memorize what I needed for that week and completely forget the definitions the class period after our quiz. It's kinda sad.
#feynmanchat1920
@caro_physics@PhysicsHawk That's true, a lot of times we have to just trust that the things we cannot see actually exist. It adds a level of mystery.
#feynmanchat1920
@PhysicsHawk Space and the universe have always something that intrigues me. I think that's because it is so hard to wrap my head around the size and mystery of it. There is also so much beauty in the mystery of space, I like coming up with my own conclusions.

@LThorne19@PhysicsHawk I agree Levi. I think sometimes we compartmentalize our lives into the subjects we take in school. So we only see science in science class etc. But we are surrounded by so many different subjects. Sometimes it's good to stop and take a look. #feynmanchat1920
@PhysicsHawk The story of the girl explaining how to nit socks, showed me how math and science surround us without us seeing. We are surrounded by angles and scientific principles and don't even notice a lot of the time. Working on engines show many scientific principles. #feynmanchat1920
@kbjunior11@PhysicsHawk I agree Keenan, patterns are everywhere! Those are some good examples too. They truly are a very scientific way of thinking.
#feynmanchat1920
@PhysicsHawk Recognizing patterns is a skill that is very important and often undervalued. Recognizing patterns and trends and allows you to make predictions and formulate opinions and hypothesize which is a basis for scientific thinking.
#feynmanchat1920
@PhysicsZucco@PhysicsHawk Definitely Christian. Safety is the number one most important thing when it comes to American Lives. Everything should revolve around Safety. Safety shouldn't be the thing adjusted along the way.
