Life in New York was wearing Cantwell down โ the commute, the cost of living, the snowstorms, the lack of time with his family. They chose Memphis and moved to the city 13 years ago. https://t.co/8ikC641dUO
@SpacesGrizzlies@kgrandberry901 @HoopOG Is there anything about the team that you DO like? Definitely not the players, the GM, the coaches.... Maybe the city uniforms?
@TMcgradyR@ESimmons79441 I'll probably go to MORE games this season since people will be dumping great tickets on resale sites.
Games at the forum are still a lot of fun + you get to watch the young guys shine like GG & VWJ did during that injury ridden 2023-24 season like GG's 44 pt game.
@JohnMartin929 I'm not sure LaRavia was ever a "bust" like Roddy or Ziaire. He was quite productive here and most of the fan base was cursing the fact that we traded him the last time we played the Lakers.
All said, I think we've hit much more often than almost any other team.
@abris11@jarenjacksonjr One of the most caring guys in the NBA, constantly giving time and money to charity, supporting the community, a permanent smile on his face, and ALWAYS willing to take pix with fans or sign autographs (something few stars do any more).
@mehdidds It doesn't really matter who the coach is when the point is to tank. In fact, we are probably better off not having a great coach the rest of this season.
@CREAMYCOLE It had nothing to do with Edey. It started when we couldn't stay healthy during the playoffs in the early days of the Ja-Jaren-Des era, compounded by a massive amount of regular season injuries the last 3 seasons.
@Grizz_Fan_Ant If we trade Ja then we will have the most 1st round picks in the league for the next few years plus the largest MLE in NBA history so a lot of possible paths to take.
@ChrisVernonShow One of the biggest class acts in the league. Always giving back to the community, rarely didn't have a smile on his face, and was always willing to take photos and sign autographs for fans.
@JWinters489 Not a very good take given the ages of that group + more first round draft picks the next few seasons than any other team + the largest trade exception in NBA history.
