@BryanHarneyPPS Casual UFC crowds are ruining the sport without knowing. High level submission grappling is an absolute nightmare at heavyweight, but I am worried the audience wouldn’t understand what’s happening and boo the wrestlers, because it’s not Powerslap.
@StevGuerrero@Starlink@ValentinaForUSA That’s how I had it first, then I doubted myself and changed it to what you saw. Damn it. Still glad the Colombians get free Starlink.
@BryanHarneyPPS Sure everyone can make a long list and/ir additions of all kinds of sports, but Combat Sambo and CACC have to be pretty high ranked. Combat Sambo maybe falls under MMA for the American audience, but CACC has to be the manliest sport.
@BryanHarneyPPS I can’t see Mr.McGregor performing well in the 3rd round. If he catches Mr.Holloway early, that’s his best chance. One has to keep in mind that we see a prime version of Max without having to cut a lot of weight + insane striking volume. Have to admire Connor’s dedication though.
@BryanHarneyPPS Was wondering the same. Perhaps it brings even more eyes to the UFC? Also, like early bare knuckle boxing, they did have some rather “retired” UFC fighters wrestle, so it pushes RAF as well. Are we looking at a win-win situation here? And Mr.Sonnen commentary, I like it.
@ufc@yanezmma@paramountplus I suspect Mr.VanDamme irreversibly damaged Mr.Garbrands chin back in the days when he kicked him. And yes that actually happened.
@BryanHarne20219 Nice one, very obvious once one knows it. Pushing against the bottom person’s hips also seems to prevent him from trying to shrug you off.
@BryanHarne20219 CACC combined with Lethwei counters pretty much everything. Have to admit that it violates a few of the UFC rules, but one can work around that.
