Something’s coming 👀

Looks like Calgary’s @Project8Sports club has an announcement coming on May 30th.

Mark the calendars, y’all 🗓️

“It’s almost time to meet Calgary’s newest pro team. The FIRST women’s pro soccer club is soaring into this great city and province on May 30th”

For my non-Canadian followers aren’t familiar with D. Matheson. Matheson represented Canada 200+ times, won the nation's first ever Olympic medal with a 92nd min goal winner v France and is now building Canada's first pro women's soccer league.

No one was doing, so she is.

@WsoccerCa Used to be rink rats. What a great thing for them to do, an amazing opportunity for those young players.

[CBC Olympics @CBCOlympics]

After 9 years as head coach of the senior women's national team, Lisa Thomaidis and Canada Basketball announced a mutual split last week

Despite a tough #Tokyo2020, she says she hopes the team continues on its upwards trajectory https://t.co/9UGiUinaSo

[Seattle Kraken @SeattleKraken]

seems like first-ever #SeaKraken player, @lukehenman16’s first team meeting didn’t go quite as planned… 😂

My advice to these intrepid humans: do the work well, fully live the experience, make it a part of who you are, forever. (Launch is now 10:30 Eastern)

I got this from a former student this morning. I only share this because of historical dislike of grades/assessment. He failed the exam. I would have failed as a human to shut doors.
