@DjsAviation A350-2000 I think is in the works we just don't know about it. Slots are at a extreme price premium again at the major hubs. A380's are already brought back. 777x stretch is severely delayed, 350 stretch is the most economical reality right now.

@NickCnf @MarkJCarney I'm hoping Shearwater gets to be reactivated. With all that's being built DND wise out that way it would be shocking if it wasn't even as just a logistical center. Looks of space for expansions and many buildings could use Reno's / replacing.

@DjsAviation It's an interesting case. Boeing knew what they were doing to avoid having to get a brand new type certificate. Boeing didn't disclose MCAS to anyone who should have known / would have had a problem with it. Pilots should have known about MCAS and a way to disable / hand fly.

@CNN The Canadian TSA (CATSA) are government trained, contracted employees of private companies. Paid decently for their work and have access to employer group benefits. It works here!

@mattdagley I am aware of that, whatever the government coin is going to be, it's going to be pegged to CAD, so why reinvent the wheel? A gov coin (CAD) that they can digitally trace the history of. The banking system tracks history of currency transfers. No sense wasting tax $$$ to do this.

@hfxfirefighters What happened to all the quints? I know they had smaller ladders but for low rise were adequate. I know in the larger circles quints were seen as less desirable as Jack of all trades master of none. But they seemed to work in Halifax well for years. Am I missing something?

@NickCnf There was a Reddit post by gas prices guy of a leaked map/site plan last year? But Costco/HRM shortly denied that it was going ahead and was just a concept or location scouting map or something. But why would such a map make it out to so many that it would be leaked? F knows TBH.

@NickCnf @mattdagley Yeah I got rid of the old escape last year. Just back and forth to the airport 4 times a week and whatever putting around when gas was $2 costed over $100 a week. Got a RAV4 now
