@JimRussellSD Until today the list was Evan Carter, but he had a pinch hit today and got his average up to a staggering .172, leaving Manny all alone as the worst qualified hitter in baseball
@carredondo28@DevineGospel Hear Manny Ramirez is looking for a hitting coach job. Would be nice to have a Manny that can probably still hit on the team
@notgaetti I think a lot of it hangs on where he plays for the rest of his career. Can tell you as a Pads fan he wouldn't end up with many batting titles in Petco. Get him to Colorado and he may be the first .400 hitter since Ted. Oracle is a good spot for him for now, big outfields
@adhdrunsme From mid June 2024 to June 2025 he had the 3rd best SLG in baseball behind only Judge and Ohtani. Don't doubt his abilities. Problem is he's just dog shit rn
@seanphughes99@thestevenwoods@andybolin2 Ballpark factor is a thing, but in Petco's case it suppresses base hits by about 5%. This is enough to make someone like Luis Arraez much less effective, but it's not responsible for us having half the lineup hit under .200
Also it's an above average park for HR now
@DevineGospel Hard for Jackson to give all those gung-ho wise beyond his years answers when the kid is hitting fuckin .190, and like .070 the last 2 weeks
@FrontRowBrian@JomboyMedia Yeah typically when a runner gets caught in a rundown they get tagged out and that's just it. That's how the play usually goes
