Most people quit when the world laughs at them.
Elon Musk built the future instead.
Love him or hate him…
Nobody has changed more industries in a single lifetime.
Payments. Cars. Energy. Space. Social Media. Communications. AI.
History won’t remember the people who said it couldn’t be done.
It will remember the people who did it anyway.
Congratulations Elon.
The first trillionaire. 🚀
Elon just created 4,400 millionaires in a single day.
400 of them are now worth over $100 million.
These aren't VCs. They're SpaceX employees, and the list includes welders, technicians, and cafeteria staff, because for two decades the company paid every level of the workforce in stock instead of higher salaries.
Juan Hernandez immigrated from Mexico and took a $28 an hour contractor welding job in 2015. He says he didn't even know what SpaceX was. The company gave him a $10,000 equity grant and let him buy more shares through payroll deductions. That stake is now worth $880,000.
Trevor Hise's parents wanted him to take a stable job at General Electric. He picked SpaceX instead, stayed 12 years, and accumulated over 100,000 shares. At the $135 listing price that's $13.5 million. He's 37 and semiretired. His words: "The magnitude of this has been ridiculous."
The most telling detail came before the listing. Over 100 employees quietly banded together and negotiated a group wealth management deal covering up to $5 billion, because none of them had ever needed a wealth manager before.
Software IPOs have minted millionaires for 30 years. This is the first one where the money went to the factory floor.
Genetically Modified Ketchup: Heinz Ketchup just got the “Contains Bioengineered Food Ingredients” label.
Your family’s trusted BBQ and burger staple is now officially Frankenstein food.
That’s mostly GMO high fructose corn syrup (92%+ of U.S. corn is bioengineered) + sugars from bioengineered sugarcane and sugar beets that spike blood sugar, fuel inflammation, and mess with hormones & gut health.
Plus a non-disclosed secret proprietary blend of 'natural flavors' that is kept from public knowledge.
You thought you were just squeezing tomatoes… but you’re feeding your kids ultra-processed junk while the brand keeps the same nostalgic red bottle.
Ditch it. Make your own in 5 minutes.
Quick Homemade Ketchup (no HFCS, no GMOs):
• 1 small jar (6 oz) tomato paste
• ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
• 2–3 Tbsp maple syrup or honey (to taste)
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ¼ tsp mustard powder
• Pinch black pepper + optional cayenne
Mix until smooth. Stores in fridge for weeks and tastes way better.
Throw out the Heinz. Make homemade instead.
A 24-year-old Polish tennis player arrived in Paris last week ranked 114th in the world, with no sponsors, no guaranteed income, and no certainty she could even pay for her hotel room.
She had to win three qualifying matches just to enter the French Open main draw. Prize money is only paid at the end of the tournament, so a Polish sports drink brand quietly stepped in and covered her hotel bill.
Her name is Maja Chwalinska. And today, she plays in the French Open final.
Before this tournament, she had won exactly one Grand Slam main draw match in her entire career. She had battled depression so severe that in 2021 she couldn't get out of bed. She underwent knee surgery in 2022. She spent years grinding through small tournaments across Europe just to stay afloat.
Then she arrived in Paris, won three qualifiers, and kept winning. Zheng Qinwen. Elise Mertens. Maria Sakkari. Diana Shnaider. Nine straight matches. One set dropped.
She is now the first qualifier in French Open history to reach the final. The last time a qualifier reached a Grand Slam final, it was Emma Raducanu at the 2021 US Open. Raducanu won.
By simply making the final, Chwalinska has earned more prize money than her entire career combined. The runner-up cheque alone is $1.6 million. If she wins today, she takes home $3.25 million.
One week ago she couldn't pay for her hotel room.

In Bellville, a woman listed a couch on Facebook Marketplace for R4,500. A buyer contacted her and sounded normal, sent proof of payment, and said the money was “held” until she verified her bank account.
By 21:14, R42,870 was gone from her bank accounts. The bank said it was authenticated and they could not help her.

Michelle and Gideon Roos, a couple from the Stellenbosch/Somerset West area in South Africa, were the 9th victims in a series of armed robberies carried out by the same group of four Black men over the past two weeks.
On the evening of 29 May 2026, at around quarter past seven as the sun was setting, Michelle and Gideon Roos were relaxing on their stoep (veranda), braaiing (barbecuing), and speaking on the phone with Michelle's parents when their dog Charlie began barking. Michelle sensed something was wrong and alerted her father. Within seconds, four Black men wearing balaclavas and thick rubber gloves stormed the property.
The attackers threw Gideon onto the grass. One immediately grabbed the phone from Michelle's hand, ripped her pearl earrings from her ears, and pulled her wedding rings off her fingers. They forced Gideon into the house and into the bedroom, where they tied him up. Michelle and Gideon repeatedly pleaded, "Please, please don’t hurt us."
While three of the men ransacked the cupboards, shouting "Money, money!", one stood holding Michelle's gold jewelry. Gideon was forced onto the bed. The attacker with the pistol focused on Michelle. She handed over her handbag and wallet with what little cash she had. The man also grabbed Gideon's wallet. When Michelle tried to negotiate to keep their ID's and licenses, he shoved her onto the bed and agreed curtly.
Gideon attempted to direct them to money in his cupboard but struggled to speak clearly. One attacker, armed with a long bent Y-dropper tool resembling a crowbar, stood threateningly behind Gideon, visibly irritated and ready to strike. Fearing for her husband's life, Michelle told him to stay quiet. She then dropped to the ground, offering to help the robbers by searching through the scattered belongings herself and handing over valuables, saying things like "Do you want this? This is worth so much!" to de-escalate the situation.
The man with the pistol pulled Michelle back onto the bed. When she tried to reach the panic button, he caught her, threw her down, and ordered her to sit next to her husband. Michelle feared she was about to be assaulted. The attackers continued their search. One ripped Michelle's precious gold cross necklace from her neck despite Gideon's plea that it was from God. They took Gideon's bakkie (truck) keys, with one briefly going to the vehicle before returning. After holding the couple for 15-20 minutes, the group fled.
Michelle slammed the bedroom door, and together they pushed a large chest of drawers in front of it. She pressed the panic button repeatedly while desperately trying to free Gideon by biting and pulling at his ties with her teeth, chipping a tooth in the process but refusing to stop. After a short time, they secured the trellis gate and hid until security and a large number of police arrived.
Michelle and Gideon sustained no physical injuries, thank the Lord, but both are suffering significant emotional and psychological trauma. This incident occurred just as they were beginning to recover from a previous farm attack on Gideon's parents the year before.
The couple had to recount the full story in detail multiple times to authorities, recalling additional elements with each telling.
The Roos family reports that these connected robberies in the area have not been publicized in the news or elsewhere, and they only learned of the prior incidents from police and security. Their cellphones were stolen, leaving them temporarily unable to receive calls or messages on new devices, though they welcome all prayers and support.
