While the three highest funded regions receive an average of $18.30 per person in federal arts funding, Waterloo Region receives just over $3.36 per capita - a $9.3 million gap in 2022 alone!
Our community, and underfunded communities across Canada, deserve better.

While you're at it, demand and organize for adequate shelters and housing for all in all our cities/towns. Current shelters are almost always full, packed too full, and don't meet people's various needs.
Currently on scene at several locations involving flooding to roadways and transit crossings.
