@Nosym_Pharma@NU_ChemE acid recycle stream to save as much of the acid initially put into the process and reuse it, cutting material costs significantly. Our process isn't very energy intensive so we can transfer savings on our utilities to our final product.

Ways we've reduced the cost include using a cheaper refined source material (microcrystalline cellulose) to increase yield and optimizing the (1/2)
@PyroCycleNEU@NU_ChemE Thanks for the Q's! NCC is a great substitute for plastics because of its ability to realign and restructure based minor post-production alterations, making it a versatile raw material that can easily replace plastics in a lot (not all as of yet) of industries
@NanocapTeam9@NU_ChemE Hey! Thanks for the question! To answer - we looked at the precedent set by other studies running a similar process and also found simulating a dryer in this process rather difficult in ASPEN, though it's definitely something we'll be taking a look at more as we fine-tune!
@li_nfao@NU_ChemE Hello Team 3, great poster! I just have a quick question regarding the recycle stream. As you would know that the recycling process for the battery is complex, but do you have any plans or thought about how to dispose and recycle the batteries for reuse?
