We are a group of companies who are fighting the decision that Hiscox Insurance have made to refuse Business Interuption cover following the COVID-19 Pandemic.

@GroupHiscox @TheFCA claim submitted, no response, no updates, no contact from @HiscoxSmallBiz. Hiscox not abiding FCA case judgement or Dear CEO. Not enough claim workers? This is thievery, who can enforce the the judgment? Why is this allowed to continue?

@UKHospKate The @TheFCA specifically took action in the test case so they could carry out their regulatory oversight. They have done nothing so far. They were not and are not fit for purpose.

9 working days after saying we are getting an interim payment, it's still not here, @HiscoxUK EVERYTHING to do with BI claims seems like a shambles. Everything. Your customer service on this is non-existent.

Back in 2007, when our house flooded, our insurer was overwhelmed with claims. So they drafted in more staff, to deal with things promptly. There is no excuse for slow claims handling, especially when you've had a year to get organised, @HiscoxUK @GroupCovid @GroupHiscox

We like to think it’s Hiscox being caught out on their wilful and deliberate avoidance of liability.

@CommonsTreasury @TheFCA @MelJStride Then he needs to start regulating the insurers, specifically @HiscoxUK for their shambolic response to the Test Case judgement.
Offers coming in that are adjusted on the wrong cover, e.g. loss of gross profit, when loss of income is on the policy schedule...
