Just been speaking to a large group of Optoms and it seems large employers and the very same agencies are using the same tactics with them too. Obviously making the dubious claims about shortages in that sector while locum optoms are sitting at home looking for work.

The point here is that bodies which represent the profession knew about this in ‘summer’ however nothing came of it. Anyway well done to everyone!
