@Eva_GBTheatre @459Friday @PotteryThrow@siobhni@richmillerpots @KBJWhitstable That's what I thought. Makes her achievement even more impressive. Some people just can't be pleased to see others do well.
@PotteryThrow@siobhni@richmillerpots @KBJWhitstable It had to be Donna. It was quite clever not showing us how great her chandelier was until the end. She is the most talented potter you've ever had on the show.
Great. It's back. Hopefully was just a glitch. A result like this shows why it's needed. When the top three results have 4 stars or lower, you want the viewer to easily have access to better results. Side note. Anglian taking over Safestyle's listings.
@DarrenShaw_ It shouldn't be devastating. There's more to local SEO than the map pack. It's been clear for a while that businesses need to spread their efforts and not rely on a free platform that changes without notice.
@JoyanneHawkins@searchliaison They've been cutting out a lot of major keywords that show the map pack so I wouldn't be surprised if this was part of the move to force people to the maps listing. I'm sure I have more options for filtering at the top now.
Looks like there has been a change to the local map pack. No option at the bottom to see more. Forcing the use of maps? Temporary or permanent? Do you know? @sejournal
If you run ads for double glazing, you should be concerned about this. Anglian is running ads for the same keywords and using both the Anglian and Safestyle accounts. I intend to report this under the Unfair Advantage rule. See more in comments. #googleads
These ads have appeared for the term uPVC sash windows. If you find them double serving in your area, report them using this form. https://t.co/NyEkuo36P9
This morning I completed a 2-hour consultation for a company who are tied into a 12-month agreement with their "SEO agency".
3 things came from that call...
1) They are paying for keyword research that does absolutely nothing. Literally, these keywords are never used anywhere or in any pages/articles.
2) They are paying nearly £3k per month for what amounts to no more than Ai blog posts on their site and changes to page titles at the rate of about 8 pages per month.
3) The reports are nothing more than "These are the pages we changed and this is where you are ranking" - that's it...
It is genuinely sad that these so-called SEO companies have to tie people into contracts like this.
The initial call with them was with someone who was fairly well-informed about SEO but wasn't the one who they would be working with. They didn't know that all of these others sat at desks didn't really know the first thing about SEO - churn and burn!
Sadly these companies don't care about anything more than their turnover and they know that once they have someone locked in, it is almost impossible to get out of.
Don't fall foul of these companies.
