Charlie's first game at U9s this morning (and my first game managing a team of U9s that 2 players aside have never played a match before) then tomorrow, his first U8 game as well.
Nervous is not the word!
@GeorgeSmileyOBE I had to laugh, the guy who ran my lads U10 Sunday team this season has more cat 1 academy experience than Mcfarlane and has the same UEFA coaching level.
It could be a positive that this is the last time you see some of these players in a Chelsea shirt.
Unfortunately the liklihood is that the ones you're hoping to leave will actually stay and the ones we actually want to keep will leave.
Gusto will line up in August. Guaranteed.
Xabi Alonso is one of the very few players to ever play for a rival that I still had the highest of opinions of. Criminally underrated and yet still highly rated. The sort of player that you just don't see enough of, could control every phase of play.
Please help this Lego build of Stamford Bridge become a reality! If it reaches 10,000 likes on the Lego Ideas website it will be considered for production!
Thank you!

@devsbluearmy@willreyner@Dannythefink He's many things but he's 100% a devoted and proper passionate Chelsea fan.
Even if I disagree on nearly everything else with him.
What the fuck do you expect with jumped up grassroots coaches in charge of the team? The same ones that have been in the backroom staff, the same ones that have pushed out experienced successful, qualified academy staff.
Make it toxic, get the yanks and their lackies out ASAP
@SebC__ If you ever have the time, I'd be fascinated to know your opinions on neurodivergence in youth football.
As the father of what I suspect is a kid with ADHD that has bags of talent but struggles to put it into action, it would be helpful.
Take as many #BlueCoOUT banners as possible to Wembley on Sunday. There’s no bigger stage in English football, keep mudding their name and make the pictures go around the world for their shareholders to see.
@Khaya__ This ownership group will NEVER countenance appointing anyone with history at the club. It's a tacit acceptance that something existed before them.
If you're calling for Rosenior's head tonight you're just the clubs useful idiots.
Call for the SDs, call for the ejection of Clearlake/BlueCo, that's what you should be calling for. If you aren't then all you're doing is running cover for them.
It wasn’t Potter’s fault. It wasn’t Pochettino’s fault. It wasn’t Maresca’s fault. It isn’t Rosenior’s fault. People can blame coaches all they like, but the whole BlueCo/Chelsea project has been such a spectacular, hubristic failure

Rosenior will be framed as an outlier, the problem and portrayed as a mistake that should not represent anything broader.
When it’s the complete opposite, his failing is a complete reflection on the people who hired him and the culture that has festered.
