#PWD artist, struggling to find _dignity_ in a world that (often) ignores (PWD). / mostly RTs now as my original content is deemed "too negative" / Archivist
I must admit given the recent PBO Prelim Report, this "celebration" about organ donation, and the general silence from @KamalKheraLib about the #CDB, I have very little faith left that #PWD will _ever_ get real help. I've never felt this demoralized about our issues.๐
@TylerStack Puhleeze, my own former LIB MP was only to happy to take credit for the results of my UNPAID labour in order to promote her jumping to another party to bolster her own fake concern for #PWD issues ๐ง
The federal government has got to fix the Canada Disability Benefit.

@nejsnave Same! Gotta admit than I'm more than a little nervous. The results determine how many lymph nodes will be excused in addition to my tonsils ๐. Thereby determining the strength / length of future chemo & radiation.
Good thought & Light for you, my friend ๐
#CanadaDisabilityBenefit Now In Force. 319 days maximum remaining in regulation @JustinTrudeau@cafreeland @KamalKheraLib.
This benefit as it stands with your 80% cut, tied to DTC is nothing less than an absolute and total betrayal against Canada's values & #Disabled citizens.
14:15 today, I'm _finally_ getting the PET scan to determine how far my Tonsillar #cancer has already progressed. Next step will be surgery in the next few weeks.
All good thoughts & ๐ appreciated ๐
About two weeks ago, I got confirmation that I have Tonsillar Cancer that has moved to my lymph nodes. More tests & treatment in the near future. Here's hoping I'm in the 90% that do well w treatment ๐
#CanadaDisabilityBenefit Now In Force.
A maximum of 365 days remaining in regulation @JustinTrudeau@cafreeland @KamalKheraLib.
What else will you do to make it even less effective and helpful for our most vulnerable #Disabled citizens ?
As much as I 100% support the announcement of contraceptive and diabetic drugs now being covered in the Fed Budget, I can't help but worry that this will "force" our Fed Gov't to adopt the cheapest possible #PWD#CDisB option when it _finally_ comes into force.
