@pinkskwiff You can never "replace" a beloved pet, but you can fall in love again once your grieving abates. I feel so blessed to have had 4 wonderful dogs prior to my current pair. Each are unique and wonderful in their own way. I still think of each of them and send them my love.

@pinkskwiff Not everyone understands the importance of the unconditional love that dogs give to their human partners. I have lost several wonderful dogs over my life, each heartbreaking. It took me 5 years to get over my darling German Shepherd Lily who was 13. I have 2 young GSDs I 💗now.

@WarriorZoltar @AMikofsky Good for you!!! This population is at high risk for going back to prison. We are not an easy country for felons. They have trouble getting work or renting because of the ongoing stigma. You must have the heart of an angel to do this work:)

@WarriorZoltar It will be scary, especially week 1. However, you will soon find your footing. It was hard, but I loved everything I learned in Grad School. You CAN do this woman! Have faith in yourself!

@stage4wisdom Also know that there is always hope, no matter how slim. I was told that there was a 90% chance that I would not survive the year. That was 39 years ago. I did creative imagery to see my body fighting the cancer cells and being victorious. Miraculously I survived. Who knows why.

@stage4wisdom Live each day as it comes & find the joy you can. Have those important talks w/your loved ones. Write letters or send texts to your friends. Make the most of the time you have. I've had cancer & I've worked with cancer patients. Find the peace & grace that comes with acceptance.

@antifaoperative Sadly many don't value the lives of girls & women. These people have no empathy or compassion. I have two children. Pregnancy & childbirth are hard to go thru as an adult, asking a traumatized child to suffer thru this is criminal. I was sexually assaulted for 2 years as a child.

@AnnJuurinen @EDUwithEmily Teaching can be a calling... I was lucky enough to have several really inspired teachers who sparked my love of life long learning. As a society we don't appreciate & respect good teachers enough. We need to cut class sizes & start funding supplies, pay decent wages.

@QuancyClayborne My cats have always done this as a sign of affection. They have brought mice, moles, birds... I just put them in a plastic bag and deposit them in the trash.

@HeyNurseKat @FootieFan87 I have been vaxxed to the max! The Nuremburg style trials should be for all of those anti-vaxxers who spread disinformation that kills so many people needlessly. The data is very clear that the Covid Vaccines are very safe and prevent severe illness.
