@Orbital_Perigee@lrocket@johnkrausphotos@SpaceX niobium is particularly good at radiating heat, so far as I know, so selecting another material would probably require a heavier construction to manage heat flux as effectively. So while niobium is a pain to work, the performance gains pay for themselves in payload mass budget
@lrocket@SpaceX so its one circumferential slot around the nozzle body, with these vanes acting like splines during assembly? Or when you say slot, is it more like a series of smaller slots, with the vanes being the structure between these?
@russ_bullock@yrrot1@NoGutsNoGalaxy@Nesutizale@PiranhaGames@MW5Mercs I'm late to the party in watching this video. I'm kinda hoping you are making a DLC for MW5 that does initial clan invasion from merc perspective, to tie in to a new MW game that does invasion from warden, crusader and 2nd starleague mil perspectives
@Flyingdebrisguy @BishopSteiner Gotta admit, I'm surprised the PGI design doesn't have the shock absorbers over the arm weapons. Also, I don't think triangular gauss would be so bad, if they are aligned with inner faces vertical and parallel.
@SeanErikAuthor@C4K96 I hope that we see the same variety as seen in the 2D pilot portraits from MW5Mercs. There's a lot of variation there, from janky wrecks to high tech (probably lostech) rigs.
@elonmusk@Teslaconomics While true, an electric sports bike need not exceed the safety and performance of an ICE bike, only to match existing standards. Riders already accept the inherent risks in order to take advantage of small size and cheaper running costs.
@KeenSWH
Unsure where to post suggestions for SE, so I'm just putting it here for now:
H2 fluids system streamlining, and more modding support to allow things like weapons that run on H2, or alternate gasses in discrete fluid loops of their own.

@Katrinagamedev The config D does have both lasers and missiles in it's arms, so I get the concern. Again, it's just creative differences. Your work looks great
@Katrinagamedev That looks really good. I'd have gone with Atlas shoulder armour and arm missiles in "hand" positions, but that's just creative difference. The execution here is excellent
@peterrhague It may have had more use if there had been a fully reuseable 2nd stage to put into orbit; something that the standard f9 didn't really have the mass budget to make work.
@Fireyone@irishdogmeows@EckhartsLadder Also, Escharum goading the MC into fighting him from the beginning, and some other cues, gave me the impression that E was about to die of natural causes, and wanted to die a warrior's death, or carve out a legend of his own before whatever ailment took him
@Fireyone@irishdogmeows@EckhartsLadder The way I saw it, Escharum elevated Atriox so as to keep the Banished inspired. He talks a lot about defeating humanity psychologically, to the point that it seemed the Banished weren't so far from psychological defeat either.
@DJSnM@DrChrisCombs My thoughts as well. Blunt body shock would remain, but tapered fuselage should limit any mid-body shock fronts, at least until the canards (which would be more like traditional fins on return)
