For election rallies, kumbh mela, holi etc people travelled across cities & interstate resulting in this explosion of cases.

Why not use Easter Island again? This time to quarantine the returning Aussie citizens for 14 days & once 2 covid tests are negative fly the batch to mainland. Easter Island has enough food & medical resources to last each flight load for a few weeks.
