In solidarity with our Good Shepherd partners across Asia Pacific, we acknowledge the gender digital divide and call for the need to promote and to uphold girls rights and gender equality in all segments of society, especially during this pandemic.
We are nearing our annual celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child 2021 with the theme: "Digital Generation, Our Generation."
The countdown has begun. Tomorrow by this time, we would have stormed the digital space in solidarity with the girls.
Dear Good Shepherd Alumni, we are reaching out to you to make sure that all of you are safe and well, especially during this pandemic. We, at Good Shepherd Convent, Chennai, remember all our students and their families and especially pray for their safety and protection.
"Together not alone" is written, composed and performed by Smrithi Sasikumar, a student of Good Shepherd School Chennai. She is accompanied by her sister Smitha Sasikumar (also a GSC student) on the violin.
