Today's situation in Balochistan is the direct outcome of marginalizing Baloch voices for years, brutally suppressing the youth every time they try to raise grievances peacefully, and protecting the war profiteers who only gain from keeping the Balochistan unstable.
The old mindset that brute force will crush the Baloch movement has failed repeatedly, yet it never stops.
Every new leadership arrives convinced their predecessors simply didn't apply enough force, that this time they'll finally "teach the Baloch a lesson." And every single time, they fail miserably.
They lost Bangladesh with the exact same mindset, through arrogance and overreliance on military suppression instead of addressing genuine grievances, and it seems they're willingly repeating that history in Balochistan today

If their leadership is so mired in corruption and self-interest, prioritizing personal financial gains over the nation’s welfare, how can anyone expect them to resolve such monumental crises? This only underscores their unwillingness to allow open discussion or pursue meaningful solutions

The decision by the Pakistani state to place bounties on the heads of Baloch Republican Party President and Baloch leader Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti, along with other Baloch political leaders, is a terrorist and aggressive act. This decision clearly demonstrates that instead of tolerating dissent, the state is pursuing a policy of suppressing opposing voices, silencing them, and spreading fear.

The attempt to crush political dissent through bounty lists and threats is, in fact, an expression of weakness and panic. This action will further aggravate the already serious situation in Balochistan.

In Balochistan, enforced disappearances, the recovery of mutilated bodies, and extrajudicial actions have already taken the form of a grave humanitarian crisis. In such an environment, placing bounties on individuals’ heads amounts to making state repression even more overt.

Previously, state institutions in various districts of Balochistan have formed death squads composed of criminal elements to target political activists and their families. Now, the state itself has effectively assumed the form of a death squad, openly announcing its intention to target political leaders by placing bounties on their heads. Such actions amount to state terrorism.

The international community and human rights organizations must take immediate notice of this dangerous development and take effective measures to stop this course of action.

سیاسی اختلاف کو انعامی فہرستوں اور دھمکیوں کے ذریعے کچلنے کی کوشش دراصل کمزوری اور بوکھلاہٹ کا اظہار ہے۔ یہ اقدام بلوچستان کے حالات کو مزید سنگین بنائے گا۔

بلوچستان میں جبری گمشدگیاں، مسخ شدہ لاشوں کی برآمدگی اور ماورائے قانون کارروائیاں پہلے ہی سنگین انسانی بحران کی شکل اختیار کر چکی ہیں۔ ایسے ماحول میں سروں کی قیمت مقرر کرنا ریاستی جبر کو مزید کھلے عام شکل دینا ہے۔

اس سے قبل ریاستی ادارے بلوچستان کے مختلف اضلاع میں مختلف جرائم پیشہ افراد پر مشتمل ڈیتھ اسکواڈ تشکیل دے کر سیاسی کارکنوں اور ان کے خاندانوں کو نشانہ بناتے رہے ہیں۔ اب ریاست خود مکمل طور پر ایک ڈیتھ اسکواڈ کی شکل اختیار کر چکی ہے جو سروں کی قیمت مقرر کر کے سیاسی رہنماؤں کو نشانہ بنانے کا کھلم کھلا اعلان کر رہی ہے۔ ایسے اقدامات ریاستی دہشت گردی کے مترادف ہیں۔

عالمی برادری اور انسانی حقوق کی تنظیموں کو اس خطرناک پیش رفت کا فوری نوٹس لینا چاہیے اور اس طرزِ عمل کو روکنے کے لیے مؤثر اقدامات کرنے چاہیے۔

Pakistani military is preparing for a grand operation in Dera Bugti. Over the last few days, more than two dozen buses carrying military personnel have reached Sui. State-backed death operatives have established camps in the Lanju and Seghari areas. Two helicopters landed in Sui this evening from Punjab, while codcopter drones have been flying since morning in the surrounding areas of Sui. #Balochistan

The Frontier Corps (FC), in collaboration with the so-called Death Squad, is attempting to seize the ancestral lands of the Shaheed Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti in the Lanju and Sagari areas of Dera Bugti. To facilitate this, the Death Squad has been provided with extensive financial support by the FC, along with large quantities of weapons, ammunition, and modern quadcopter drones.

In recent months, Death Squad operatives have been planting landmines across these lands. These explosives and weapons are being directly supplied by the FC, and the entire operation is being carried out under the supervision of the FC Sui Commandant.

Today alone, three separate landmine explosions occurred on these lands, claiming the lives of three civilians — including a woman and a young girl — and injuring six others, among them women. In addition, nearly half a dozen livestock were killed in one of the blasts.

The Frontier Corps will be held fully responsible for the grave consequences of arming and strengthening the Death Squad, and for enabling its attempts to forcibly occupy the lands of Shaheed Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti.

گزشتہ کئی ہفتوں سے سغاری اور لنجو کے علاقوں میں شہید نواب اکبر خان بگٹی کی زمینوں پر ڈیتھ اسکواڈ کے کارندوں کی جانب سے بارودی سرنگیں بچھائی جارہی ہیں۔ یہ بارودی سرنگیں اور اسلحہ ایف سی کی جانب سے فراہم کیا جارہا ہے اور اس پورے عمل کی نگران�� ایف سی کمانڈنٹ سوئی کر رہا ہے۔

صرف آج ہی کے روز ان زمینوں پر تین بارودی سرنگوں کے دھماکے ہوئے، جن میں ایک عورت اور ایک بچی سمیت تین افراد جاں بحق ہوگئے اور چھ افراد زخمی ہوئے، جن میں خواتین بھی شامل ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ ایک بارودی سرنگ پھٹنے سے نصف درجن کے قریب مویشی بھی ہلاک ہوگئے۔

فرنٹیئر کور کی جانب سے ڈیتھ اسکواڈ کو مضبوط کرنے اور اسے قبیلے کے سربراہ کی زمینوں پر قبضے کی کوشش میں مدد فراہم کرنے کے نتیجے میں جو حالات پیدا ہوں گے، اس ک�� ذمہ داری مکمل طور پر فرنٹیئر کور پر عائد ہوگی۔

جس ڈیرہ بگٹی سے پاکستان کی موجودہ انسرجنسی نے جنم لیا تھا، اس کا خاتمہ بڈیرہ بگٹی سب سے پہلے کس نے کیا تھا؟

15 سال پہلے جب محب وطن بلوچوں کو صرف پاکستان کا جھنڈا بلند کرنے پر بے دردی سے شہید کیا جاتا تھا، اور جب مین اسٹریم میڈیا بھی دہشتگرد تنظیموں کی بربریت دکھانے سے خوفزدہ تھا

تب وزیر اعلیٰ میر سرفراز بگٹی اور ان کے والد میر غلام قادر مسوری وہ جراتمند آواز تھے جنہوں نے نہ صرف بی آر اے کے خلاف ڈٹ کر کھڑے ہوئے بلکہ اپنے علاقے ڈیرہ بگٹی کو دہشتگردوں کے چنگل سے آزاد کرایا۔
آج اپکو ڈیرہ بگٹی کے جوانوں کے ہاتھ میں بندوق نہیں قلم ہی نظر آئے گا ، آج ڈیرہ بگٹی کے ہر جوان پاکستان زندہ آباد کہہ رہا ہے ۔اسکے پیچھے کہی قربانیاں اور شیہد کا خون شامل ہیں۔
