Made a Hofstra basketball off-season tracker: https://t.co/DtbwAqa3ff
I'll add a section for transfers they're in communication with later.
Will also track confirmed games once we have them.
Tyler Thomas + Dstone Dubar might be my all-time favorite Hofstra duo. Just such a fun season - a team that had a real chance to dance and came up short.
Of course, Carlos was key that season, too.
Who remembers when Hofstra routed USF in 2023?
Tyler Thomas and Dstone led Hofstra w/ 25 and 24 pts respectively.
Speedy also drew up this beautiful BLOB
USF would go on to win the AAC regular season title after an insane 15 game win streak
Fun game!
@bsports8119202@ShootyH00ps I think it’s more likely that they get another guy who can take on solid minutes.
More likely scenario is that freshman guard Xavier Blake breaks through to the starting five. A lot hinges on his talent.
@bsports8119202 Realistically I think 12-14 PPG, but with Speedy, perhaps 15-18 is on the table.
Depends how central they want to make him to the offense.
I think Justin Moore should be focused on being an elite passer, which would give TT an opportunity to be the guy.
LFG! I think Wewe is the starter, having an elite rebounder is crucial. Of course, I expect both our bigs to share minutes pretty evenly.
BTW, Wewe's rebounding comes with just 1.6 PF in 16.5 MPG. 👀
@bsports8119202 I expect that the team’s leading scorer will be Thomas, or possibly Tavarez.
We should see Thomas at both the 3 and 4.
Looks like the most versatile scorer on the squad at this point. He can create space and be a threat both on the frontcourt and by hitting some threes.
