@ahleighjohnson I disagree. Flint effectively used SM to not only critique the inadequacies of traditional journalism, but also reassert control over the narrative of their city AND reframe the crisis to promote practical solutions. SM provided a stronger tie to a global audience. #450SocialSP24

@DruT_BSU Really, I think these tonal markers are a product of our need for body language. While I do think emojis create a more standardized set of emotional cues, it does, somehow translate differently depending on the individual and how well we know them. #450SocialSP24
