My motion for online voting being added to the alternate voting methods for the 2026 election passed! Thanks so much for the robust conversation fellow council members & delegates. I appreciate all of your viewpoints. This is an accessibility win. Special thanks to @Squarest_Root

We need a shower bench without a back that can fit in a small older tub. See photos for example of shower bench as well as example of hospital tray. Thanks so much for your help!
Seeking a pair of elbow crutches!
A community member has reached out looking for a standard-sized pair of elbow crutches (aka forearm crutches, arm crutches, or lofstrand crutches). Please reach out if you have a pair to donate!

The Guelph Access Library is urgently seeking a donation of a manual wheelchair with a higher weight capacity! We only have one manual chair at the moment, and it has an unreasonably low weight capacity, making it inaccessible for many potential users. #Guelph@DEEPguelph
We have a community member currently in need, so let's get them a wheelchair ASAP!
We are also still seeking space—we're currently limited in our capacity to operate due to space constraints. If you have a lead on a location to host us, please reach out! #Guelph@DEEPguelph
Because of the Guelph Access Library, someone got a chance to see a loved one in hospice one last time. If we can find a space and fully launch, we can make more moments like this happen. Please help us find a location! #Guelph@DEEPguelph
4th review of the AODA by Rich Donovan: “The current experience for many people with disabilities in Ontario is poor. This stems from design flaws in services, products, technology, buildings, infrastructure, careers, processes, and human imagination.” https://t.co/4KOT8ErnQb
The Guelph Access Library is desperately seeking a location to host us! We're otherwise pretty much ready to launch, but the issue of space is being a major barrier. (1/4)
