I do, I just think he needs some better folks advising him. He needs someone that can push back against some bad ideas, we all have them from time to time, but in a way that he keeps his dignity unlike what happened in his last administration. I will admit I am disappointed that we didn’t get a balanced budget or a budget that begins to pay off the national debt. I stand with Paul on that because the current spending levels are not sustainable long term.
I have a feeling that you guys will get that act through if you get congress again. Democrats will use the nuclear option to get it past this time. I have my reservations and concerns about it, specifically with the way the nonpartisan groups would be funded. I don’t agree with it if it increases the taxation one cent.
@nowUSCme@NickMinock@GlennYoungkin It’s just a bad political move for either side, we will just be punished in the general electorate for this. I don’t agree with picking our voters. I believe voters should pick us. We just have to have better messaging on our policies, this is just politically lazy.
Oh I’m a Republican that also is a critical thinker. If you look at my feed you see I favor the Tea Party ideals of fiscal responsibility. This redistricting thing was a mistake and it will backfire in the long run. We kicked a hornets nest we should have left alone. Win on policy and messaging.
@Andy38161089@NickMinock@GlennYoungkin Decades ago and it settled, we kicked the hornets nest and it was a bad idea we can win voters with messaging and putting money in their pockets with economic growth.
@hoodiemannzv2@NickMinock@GlennYoungkin They can undo the maps at the state level in NC if the court flips. What I’m saying is we opened a vulnerability for ourselves by redistricting mid decade. Never doubt anything when it comes to politics.
No sweetheart, I’m just a Republican that uses critical thinking skills. You can literally look up the nuclear option. We can compromise or go nuclear. I just don’t like John Reid because he lives a morally bankrupt lifestyle and it doesn’t represent conservative values. Bless Your Heart.
That’s been that way for decades and had settled, we reignited this fire. We aren’t “catching up” we are taking cheap short term wins. This is going to comeback to harm us in the longer term. We gave the Democrats fodder to run on. NC will likely flip right back, hopefully they don’t seek revenge after. They have three Supreme Court seats on the ballot during midterms. We are also vulnerable in states like Wisconsin and now even Iowa. We are now leave ourselves open to a populist candidate, just like the Dems did with Trump.
@JohnReid4VA We as a party did this to ourselves. We have to be honest as Republicans. We should have called the dogs off in Texas , Missouri, North Carolina and any other state I have failed to mention. We can’t cry foul when we started this fire in 2025.
@JenKiggans I mean @JenKiggans we did it to them in like four other states already. We set this ride in motion for 2025. We Republicans have to be honest, we shouldn’t have done it, we should have just beat them on policy.
@LeaderJohnThune@SenateGOP@HouseGOP@POTUS Use the Nuclear Option!!! Stop being a Spineless Liar! Stop Lying and blaming it on Democrats when we have the majority!! Do your job or resign!!
