Gather your party, roll the dice, and watch your heroes (or villains!) love, hate, support, and betray each other in The Guiding Spirit Demo! ⚔️
New update out now with a new chapter, plus QoL features and fixes! 🪄

By the way, there's a recent, longer dev update on Steam as well. TL;DR: I'm still here, reading everything and working my way toward release.
Can't wait for you guys to try what I'm cooking!⚔️

OK, story progress button no longer shifts position based on the text, and the 🎲 option is now much more prominent, as many of you requested!
Also... exciting changes have been made to the main storyline(s), and the new Select Abilities feature fits in nicely too! 👀

Some fantasy games are not always about fast combat or becoming the strongest hero.
Sometimes the interesting part is watching characters think, struggle, cooperate… or completely ruin your plans.
Story-driven RPGs and personality systems can create some surprisingly memorable moments.

I've been silent for a while, but only because I'm focusing all my efforts on the release build. A lot has been added: new combat abilities, spells, Spirit interactions, classes, items, specializations and more! 🔥
I'll do a Steam progress update once I can take a breath.
@KnightsFrontier "In Knights of Frontier Valley you can see vendors walk to their stalls at the marketplace in the morning..."
I love when you can see and experience these NPC routines in games. Can't wait for the demo!
@IndieGameJoe Fantastic idea for a game! BTW, thanks for these posts, I've discovered a bunch of creative indie games through you recently. As an indie player and dev myself, this is great stuff. Please keep it up.
@SkaldRpg BG 1 & 2 really managed to capture a strong sense of adventure. The wide cast of recruitable characters and their inter-party relationships are still pretty impressive (though if i remember correctly, that shines more in the second installment).
@DanielCrow75474 Haha! Looks like I need to tweak some reactions 🙂 This reminds me of the first session I ever DM-d. The party members murdered each other five minutes into the adventure :D
