@MagmaSlasher isnt this every swap au ever or are you referring to if ONLY flowey was someone else

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@tsar_of_sorrow @SCPConfession I dont really think either of these apply as such a genetic mutation would not cause issues if contained nor are they widespread enough to be normal and thus not required to contain

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@CaptainPsyduck1 @euclicide @tinyhater this attack is just a tractor beam as shown when its used as the very first attack in the knight fight without dealing any damage if the stars are dodged

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@mortySmithfvj3 yea I can see why youd say that

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@RoOrbGoku @TR1ICKST4R @TurkiestLeg thats not hakari thats hakared

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@toescue @Vacio3012 @CainaKhanii why

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@golurksprite623 @mecha_vividley completely forgot to mention future sight here, a move that provides an absurd amount of value when breaking down defensive cores
future sight + attack is one of the best ways to kill a core defensive pokemon

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@golurksprite623 @mecha_vividley rage powder and quiver dance are good tho
meanwhile psychic not only has incredibly influential moves in doubles in trick room and ally switch, an influential move in singles being trick, but also is actually useful to be included in a type combination (2/3)

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@golurksprite623 @mecha_vividley those two weaknesses are solved in two team slots that most teams already have and in exchange you switch in easily to the most powerful type, switch into future sight (forgot to mention, incredible move for breaking down teams), and switch in to a common coverage type

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@golurksprite623 @mecha_vividley those weaknesses are incredibly easy to shore up with teammates, it's not hard to add a dark type or flying type to your team

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@golurksprite623 @mecha_vividley not to mention that picking coverage for your psychic type mon is extremely easy
fighting and fire coverage/stab vastly improves psychic's matchups across basically every mon it could go against

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@golurksprite623 @mecha_vividley this just isn't true
stealth rocks hold back so many bug types as well as how dogshit bug is as an offensive typing
psychic might only hit two types effectively but it isnt resisted by 7 types that are common across defensive mons

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@golurksprite623 @mecha_vividley normal psychic types tend to have an absurd amount of utility that makes up for the bad super effective matchup (e.g. indeedee firigaraf)
the normal type also tends to learn a shit ton of coverage to make up for this

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@golurksprite623 @mecha_vividley with passive healing that comes in extremely often in a game and likes mitigating hazard damage
stealth rocks being so incredibly common makes rock weak bug dual types inherently less long lasting which neccesitates the use of boots

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@golurksprite623 @mecha_vividley heatran and corviknight do not commonly run boots
tusk runs it because it is not immune to all hazards and is commonly a spinner; hazard immunity is extremely useful for a pokemon that also removes hazards
glowking runs boots because it is a pivot pokemon (1/2)

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@golurksprite623 @mecha_vividley not weak to fighting, fire is much less common
it also has 9 resists and a poison immunity while being attached to pokemon with incredible movepools

[Guiltybench  @GuiltyBench]

@golurksprite623 @mecha_vividley psycho cut/zenbutt is fine and there are no psychic/fighting spatkers
other types do fine with way worse stab options
