Compare that to prices before the freeze at around $3-3.5. And now we are in a really hot summer. In the north people burn the most power in the winter keeping warm

It comes out of the ground with a few extra chemicals that get removed in compression stations between the well and the pipeline.

Drilling in other areas would use different pipelines and would somewhat result in a lower price for NG.

We are still behind the 5 year average in storage of NG, but we are about 2/3rds full on storage relatively early in the injection season, the time period we put most gas into storage

We have more of an infrastructure problem now than a supply problem. We are seeing high electricity prices in the south because it’s freaking hot and people are using A/C

The point is that we are almost 2/3rds full only a couple months into the injection period (summer months) with half of July, Aug, Sept, Oct and part of Nov before it ends
