We're back with a new turtle Rescue, Hope! Hope was affected by red tide and has a lengthy rehab ahead of her. You can donate to our queen's rehab fund here to help cover costs for all of her expensive scallop cravings!

1/3 I sat down to show my SO the nudibranchs that arrived at the BAS Antarctic aquarium. Nudibranchs are shell-less sea snails, almost all predators (my jam). I was cooing over how lacy and gorgeous they are. @NanoPaleoMatt thinks they’re “gross”! Scandalous. What do you think?
#Florida's @GulfSpecimenAq has been putting on Facebook Live wildlife programs during the #coronavirus pandemic. The next one, on June 26, is called "World's Cutest Sea Slugs." I was not aware there was a beauty contest with this category. https://t.co/2WgGPxCgbH
Quiz time! Can you guess the turtle species? This turtle is native to the Everglades, but is also found throughout the state of Florida and southern Georgia. It's shell is highly-domed and is easily identified by its distinctive underside (plastron).

Hey y’all! My name is Carlee and I’m a self proclaimed Black Mermaid grad student studying sharks and sea turtles in SoFlo 🧜🏾♀️
Here’s a few pics of me and my fave sea critters
I don’t want to be socially distant from you #tigernudibranch. Happy #molluscmonday.
Thank you @GulfSpecimenAq for taking me on that ride and for showing me a new friend 😉 @ Panacea, Florida https://t.co/bRy49i3xhh
