Apparently this struck a nerve, so let me make it even simpler.

A trailer is an advertisement.

If Sony shows me Wolverine and I think the combat, dialogue, art direction or gameplay looks bad, I’m allowed to say that.

I don’t have to spend $70 to unlock the right to have an opinion.

You can LOVE what you’ve seen. I can hate what I’ve seen. Neither one of us has reviewed the game.

But this idea that the customer owes the product a chance is completely backwards.

The product has to earn the customer.

And if your best defense of Wolverine is “just buy it and play it first,” you’re basically doing Sony’s marketing department’s job for free.
