Fuck the Daily Mail for leaking things about Trossards personal life on the eve of the game. What a big fuck you to that whole organisation. My fucking racoon!
@TheFalseNein plus it’s also super plausible that none of those three are even fit to start. perhaps trossard should be there but his form has been shocking so not a whole lot to choose from unfortunately
@munenejere10@cmbftbl you can criticize the manager for this stretch & also acknowledge progress, they’re not mutually exclusive. we haven’t won anything substantial in twenty years, it’s just part of the culture now
@ASaunders_PGH it’s never gonna be a perfect comparison. practice would likely do more damage than an actual game, you only have 11 minutes of playing time over four quarters. you can certainly acknowledge challenges but that’s way too many excuses for a organization worth $7B
@ASaunders_PGH there’s plenty of wear outside the hashes. you have english clubs that aren’t worth even 10% of the Steelers that have no issues with upkeep, it’s literally night and day. is it that hard to acknowledge that there are significant gains to be made with groundskeeping?
@ASaunders_PGH even if we go with that theory, the majority of the wear is gonna be between the hashes. no reason for the rest of the field to look that bad, especially with how much time they have between games. the crew/method for groundskeeping has to be questioned at some point
@Mattcj__ For this scenario at least perhaps it starts with the main acct posting in German opposed to English which = lower general engagement? & also bc Bayern have only failed to win the league once since 12/13 & only real hype is around a UCL run so outside Germany the szn feels numb?
And we continue with this idiotic take of Arsenal "parking the bus" at Anfield.
There is not a single Arsenal player that did not play in a much higher position in the field that its Liverpool counterpart.
Not one.
The gaslighting against Arsenal is going to reach new levels this seasons, and its amplified by the discourse in the media. No talk about what Slot or Arteta said post match, just this idiotic and revisionist claims with no value.
@Shamsdale imo the key was the game opened up around 60’ & we didn’t adjust. i don’t have a problem with it being 0-0 at that point, throw on attackers & target their fatigued FBs with wide movement & quicker transitions. we didn’t try much of anything until going behind, extremely annoying
in all the noise this is gonna go under the radar, but genuinely impressive to step into anfield cold with <30 mins of PL experience & perform that way. incredible player
Cristhian Mosquera vs. Liverpool, early sub at Anfield.
🔸4/5 duels won
🔸47/51 passes (92%)
🔸4 tackles
🔸3 clearances
🔸2 blocks
The key positive from the game.
