👨 True development occurs when you step beyond what feels familiar. In time, I haul myself from the water, gather my belongings, and make my way toward the locker room. After switching into my regular clothes, I pause at the gym exit to glance back at the pool once more. The su

The changing area carries the mingled aroma of chlorine and clean soap—a comforting smell that seems almost like coming home. I slip into my dark blue swimsuit, tweak my goggles, and pull my hair back into a snug ponytail, ensuri
👙Playing tennis with my son—training session. Lola snapped a selfie with Jax as they shared a kiss at the altar, with the garden stretching out behind them. The image was flawless, perfectly freezing the affection and joy of that instant.
@TomMoodyCricket Dont usually watch cricket and certainly not the Aussies, but loving Konstas. Shame you old men cant see stars that will lift your game to next level of new followers...oh dear, never mind
@MorrisCraig_ "Loved this Craig! I've faced similar challenges in finding a coaching style. Ecological dynamics are exciting, but I learned athletes need to come along. Adaptability is key when entrenched ideas resist change. Outcome-based focus and meeting players where they are is crucial
@ExeterChiefs Premiership players showing synchronicity, confidence and focus against a side 2nd from bottom in the Championship. That's a bare minimum isnt it Sherlock? Imagine you were one of those myriad Exeter contracted third or fourth choice players waiting your opportunity.
@ExeterChiefs Just read some modern academic research papers on approaches to learning and the short term gains that tail off quickly with an instructional, rigid, coach led, expert perfect form, perfect shape approach
@ExeterChiefs No surprise that Chiefs have fallen off the cliff given the rigid, structured style of play and the explicit instructional approach to organisation. Any other coaches out there believing in 'players having to man up'. Is that a modern, forward thinking strategy for development?
@ExeterChiefs Interesting that Omar was specifically brought in by Rob to replace Jules 'to bring a new voice to the coaching team'. So this is Rob's appointment. It hasnt worked, so its Rob's mistake.
@CharlieFelix The focus is always on the size of the specimens and not their adaptability in the moment. The scrum school wont of adapted past perfect form and repping either. De Groot hit 11oclock and Stuart didnt know what to do. Management bleated. Imagine if he could adapt in the moment?
@CharlieFelix "If you don't know what you're doing the game won't tell you anything." What an amazing comment!!! If you dont structure the game to the individual's needs, with appropriate scaling and task focus, directing intention and attention, then maybe you dont know your coaching onions.
@saltashrugby@PlymouthArgaum Many thanks to Saltash for being fantastic hosts and supporting us with players over the weekend. Great day, great club. All the best for the rest of the season!
