@BenGlenHuon Hi, Hobart is the wettest capital city with respect to rain days. It’s ludicrous to quote 2nd driest capital and pretend the weather doesn’t matter in Tassie for outdoor events. Remember it’s a multipurpose stadium. A bit of drizzle might be ok for footy but not other events.

I'm nothing to do with the Liberals & joined this group when I saw disingenuous and misleading posts from anti-stadium groups. I've done my own reading and concluded that the AFL teams and stadium will be good for Tasmania. There is no gun held to the head.

@BOM_Tas Dear BOM, what caused the southeasterly please? Didn't fit the profile of a sea breeze and was more like the passing of a front. But front not due until the next morning (now). The forecast was for strong NW until late in the evening. Thanks.
