1/ In this study, we find that peri-procedural adverse events were strongly associated with 5-year, 0-30 day, and 30 day-5 year all-cause and CV death after PCI and CABG for left main disease. @GreggWStone@crfheart@JACCJournals#JACCINT https://t.co/sYObxllC83
@GreggWStone I did this a couple times for MS with @PedroMDMSc and co. while at Henry Ford. I don’t think it really confers any advantage over regular valvuloplasty.
@Alberta_Yen@SachinGoelMD@DVDaniels@djc795@BGalperMD It’s possible to do it safely with a BEV, but I would 1) be careful about oversizing, 2) definitely park a stent there, and 3) pre/post IVUS: https://t.co/4l5M6jxHRr
Can’t decide which is the greater irony: that this occurred to an allergist, or that DKCRushi didn’t DKCrush. Either way, nice save @rushiparikh11! @wfearonmd@yctweeter@StanCVFellows https://t.co/5tZJKyuC4d
It’s not that I don’t want to get excited by remdesivir; it’s just that I’m old enough to remember falling in love with oseltamivir and I can’t go through that again
