Thank you @BertusMaximus2 for placing your trust in me to take on this leadership role. You stepped up during the project’s lowest point, navigating the intense tension and animosity among $NIKE holders and influencers when the price took a heavy hit. Your dedication and resilience, even while facing health challenges are truly admirable and deeply appreciated. Your contributions will forever be etched in the $NIKE Hall of Fame.

I would also like to highlight that besides Bertus, over the past two months, I’ve been working closely with @elbonzys and @CalLovesTrading. Each of us has taken on key responsibilities, including organizing events and giveaways, bridging the NIKE Discord and Telegram communities, integrating $NIKE into Danzo Casino, scouting NFT artists, planning trait designs, evaluating CEX listing options, and reviewing numerous partnership proposals daily. I have absolute confidence in their commitment and expertise, and I’m proud to be working alongside such dedicated individuals.

Thus moving forward, i propose that $NIKE be led by a small core team comprising myself, @elbonzys and @CalLovesTrading, rather than relying on a single decision maker. Considering our responsibilities alongside full time work and family commitments, implementing a rigid hierarchy at this point would only slow us down. Instead, each member of the core team will contribute ideas and provide well reasoned arguments to support them. We’ll apply first principle thinking to analyze our options and move forward with the best ideas. While we make decisions collectively, every team member is also empowered to act decisively when necessary.

We’ve invested in $NIKE ourselves, so our interests are fully aligned with the project’s success. We will continue working without compensation, and every expense remains transparent and trackable through our main treasury ($feedthepig), our spending wallet ($nikespending), and our burn wallet ($nikeburn).

Just like NIKE the pig who struggled in its early life, was fed bacon and never properly cared for, $NIKE the memecoin didn’t exactly have a good start either. It was abused and deprived of resources and funding. But just like how NIKE the pig was rescued by Charles, survived and thrived on his ranch, I believe $NIKE has been rescued by its community and has gone through its darkest days. We are finally getting a glimpse of light at the end of the tunnel.

It’s been an honor working with you @BertusMaximus2. I’m deeply sympathetic to your health condition and wish you a well deserved retirement filled with peace and strength. Rest assured, we’ll keep you in the loop on every major decision and will always value your advice as we move forward.

Big developments on the Cardano wallet hack. Firstly, Cardano was NOT hacked.

Secondly, users should be able to get their ADA back!

What got exploited was third-party wallet software, and the headlines are obviously running crazy with this Cardano news implying this was a protocol level thing.

Here's what actually happened:

- 16M ADA drained across 374 addresses by external attackers

- 129M ADA was rescued through emergency measures and is being returned to affected users

- Claims process is actually underway for people to get their ADA back

The fair question to ask is how did Emurgo have key access to do it?! The optics there aren't great.
