Hulk came third in a damn Kick Sauber after starting 19th — and kept a 7-time world champion in a Ferrari on softs behind him.

He didn’t luck into that podium. That was sheer class under insane pressure, in some of the craziest weather you could ask for.

He deserved a better podium.
He deserved better winners next to him.

As an F1 fan, this might go down as one of my all-time favourite results — dulled only by the hollow celebration that followed. Still, thank you, Hulk, for one hell of a drive. May you one day have the machine you truly deserve.

I used to root for McLaren — back when they were the underdogs.
But days like this remind you: winning only looks good on some.
