[BOTSWANA 🇧🇼- RUSSIA🇷🇺]
🚨 Botswana raises the alarm: A sharp and “alarming” rise in its citizens being tricked by Russia into fighting in Ukraine.
Fake well-paid job offers lead straight to the front lines.
@CrimeWatchZW Check out ZIMRA tax tables at https://t.co/0BA7vtFI22. Companies use standardized payroll packages and the chances of miscalculating PAYE are very low. Blame the gvt not the company! A bit of financial literacy will calm you, boet!
@baba_nyenyedzi We have so many community training centers, polytechnics and vocational colleges that need as low as no passes at all but because there are no jobs in Zim, people don't even bother going there.
@baba_nyenyedzi Your inclination is flawed. On the job skilling is only where jobs are present not where they are not. It's the economy, stupid! Vocational training is open to anyone in Zim but placements are absent. SA has so much placement potential than Zim.
@Jamwanda2 I apologise if I stoked your emotions. I am actually saying high walls have not stopped either side from edifying their lives the ways they deem fit. High walls here mean the laws that you indicate above.
@Savheya_Happie As you go up the food chain, some things like convenience, time, privacy and comfort become more important. For you to get them, you pay as much, if not more than basics. A car is a source of all that. A car is owned for what it benefits more than what it costs.
@BabesweHunters Kana iri Hwange chaiyo, or Whange to be specific, miswai mudhara quick quick. Udzai hana yenyu kuti dzikama, tinokuverengai manje manje, like now now.
@BabesweHunters You did well. It's better than dai wakarisiya. Waizobvunzwa kuti warisiirei, then woti nderamaid. Yoh yaibva yazoita hombe manje kuti unoriziva sei? Sometimes celebrate a smaller problem because it can actually be worse. Kudos!
One way to increase your earnings is to change jobs strategically over time. Avoid staying with the same employer for your entire career, and be careful not to remain in one role or organization longer than it makes sense for your growth and market value.
BREAKING: Oil prices fell after Iran announced it would fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz to all commercial shipping for the remainder of the ceasefire, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Remittances to Zimbabwe exceed $1.5B annually. Foreign direct investment is under $400M. Meaning the diaspora is the real foreign investor.
The government taxes remittances (downstream transactions) instead of enabling them.
Should Zimbabwe create a formal diaspora investment bond or tax incentive to channel remittances into productive investment?
Countries like India and Israel built diaspora bonds into national development strategy. Zimbabwe treats its diaspora as a cash machine while offering them no political representation.
@Jamwanda2 The cumulative effect of thiz annual bond investments creates massive capital formation in the country to the extend that Diaspora can literally borrow wherever they are to purchase the bonds. It becomes better than FDI because there is no need to repatriate interest/dividends.
@Jamwanda2 He talks about investment bonds. The mechanism works like this. Instead of Diaspora sending cash direct to families, they purchase a bond from gvt, which then pays periodic interest to those families. Family welfare remains the same but gvt gets capital for development.
@Gutu_Prince@loiceMututuvar1 Hakuna chivanhu chakadaro ingori tsika yaiitwa especially kunana mai vanenge vasina kana bhutsu mutsoka, it was covering a need. Haisi tsika yedu vanhu, it was just an expression of gratitude but haina chikwereti.
