Airport security all over the world is such a misery. They are always compressed onto the back of passport control, in a stressful and aggressive environment with compacted queueing channels, and with different criteria and demands even from belt to belt. We are not mind readers about our liquids and shoes etc on that day and with that particular system, and nor are we the enemy. We are the airline customer paying a significant fee to be protected.
