Opening of Progress MS-34 spacecraft, which recently delivered 2.5t of cargo to the station, including new Orlan-MKS №8 spacesuit.
Among the other waste, they will put an older Orlan-MKS suit (shown in the video), in the spacecraft for disposal.
This is an old video, one I had hoped to share from orbit, but at the time, we simply didn’t have the mechanism.
I remember a moment from my days as a fighter pilot, flying a routine mission that turned extraordinary in an instant. Below me lay a pristine turquoise lake, set against snow-covered mountains, with fresh green grass beginning to emerge, nature quietly announcing the arrival of summer. The scene stayed with me. I remember thinking, this is as beautiful as it gets.
Fast forward to 2025, and I find myself in space, looking back at Earth. As I recorded this video, I felt that same sense of awe, but deeper, almost humbling. Once again, the thought crossed my mind: surely, it can’t get any better than this.
But this time, I choose to leave room for doubt.
Because life has a way of surprising you, of showing you views you never imagined possible. So I hold on to that possibility. Never stop believing that there is more to see, more to feel, and more waiting just beyond the horizon.
Never stop believing in Life.
