In this 3rd blog in our Excess Work Hours series we start to analyze excess work hours among garment workers by additional variables including regions within Bangladesh & whether a garment factory's name appears on certain publicly available supplier lists https://t.co/KLcQMF6SHj
@ofsevit@MassDCR It only took about 20 years. But, yes, thank you. Now how about fixing from River Street to the BU bridge, given that you have abandoned long term plans for that section? @MassDCR
In this week's Garment Worker Diaries blog we look at the relationship between excess work hours & forced labor, leveraging the strength of the Diaries methodology to ask workers questions that speak to the on-going due diligence policy dialogue in Europe: https://t.co/1Al513E74q

This week's Garment Worker Diaries blog is part one in a series which will document the rise in the share of workers in #Bangladesh working excess hours. We believe these data show that the current global apparel supply chain is operating unsustainably: https://t.co/b9SM5UT302
@berkie1 I've never done the whole thing but done parts of it back in the 90s when I worked at 29th and State. That's when Stateway Gardens, the Taylor homes and other public housing were on that route.

This GWD blog series is somewhat of a culmination of the past 2 years of data collection in Bangladesh. In honor of that we've put workers' needs to the fore perhaps more than ever before & that makes us particularly happy to share this blog post with you: https://t.co/UfRW4tY4Jh
