I don't see what that has to do with defining science in a science method course though, unless you are trying to redefine a common understanding of science a student would have from science and not ed courses.

@nathandolenc @ULLafayette @OfficialNGSS Someone has to be average, averages exist for any metric. In training "dynamic" teachers (why not, "effective"?), guess what, some will be at an average level of dynamics. If you only produced teachers that were average an above, you'd be a miracle worker.
