Parents‼️‼️
As college coaches are watching this weekend, here are some big DON'TS:
❌ Coaching your athlete from the sidelines after every play. ❌ Arguing with referees or tournament staff. ❌ Complaining about playing time, coaches, or teammates in the stands.
❌ Being overly loud or drawing attention to yourself in a negative manner during games. ❌ Showing negative body language when things don't go your athlete's way. ❌ Putting extra pressure on your athlete between games. ❌ Sitting in the college coaches' seating area or taking a coach's seat just to spark a conversation. ❌ Forgetting that college coaches are paying attention to families too.
Remember, your athlete should be the one getting the attention this weekend, not your behavior. Be supportive, be respectful, and let them enjoy the opportunity they've worked so hard to earn!
