Today's plenary session #UNGA opened at 9am, a parade of leaders spoke...it wasn't until 2pm that a female spoke, Samia Suluhu Hassan. She was sworn in as Pres. of #Tanzania in March following her predecessor's death to #COVID19 .
One female in 5hours.
So much for gender equity.

Women are 70% of the #GlobalHealth workforce but 25% of leadership positions. Also women constitute 90% of nurses but only a minority of surgeons & 82% of those going into Ob/Gyn are women the fourth worst field of 18 specialties in pay inequity. #UGHE advocate to correct that

How donations of infant formula are generally distributed in emergencies: no needs assessment, no supplies to make use safe, infant and follow-on formula indiscriminately given, no education, no health care, no continuity of supply. Donations of infant formula should not be made.
