I’m biased also but I must say I agree.
I don’t know if they are trying to sell 3 million acres or 120 million acres. It doesn’t matter which.
The problem with the slippery slope fallacy is that often times it’s not fallacy.
If they sell 3 million acres now it will be 120 later. The level of greed these politicians and elites have is boundless.
And once they get all the land they want they will go for our navigable waters. That river and stream that goes through their private property, you will not have access to that.
Once they get that, they will take your beach access. This isn’t just about the west, this is something all of America should be fighting for
@catturd2 I can’t imagine living my life peddling conspiracy and lies for clicks, getting off on conning lonely paranoid people, and contributing to the increasing stupidity in this country. All for money and fame. Just a sad existence.
My brother has been digging into this more now. It appears the full plan is coming clearer and shows that its actually planned for a total of 120 million acres…
The first phase already exposes the real intent, as most is in and around highly desirable areas of the Tetons, Bighorns and Yellowstone which would be perfect for high roller developers mostly, not solely affording housing areas. Also, the vast majority is far far away from any town and is in the heart of steep and knarly mountains areas, which is the complete opposite of where housing would be needed or even possible. It’s a giant ploy. It won’t be for affordable housing and won’t even dent the deficit.
Groups beyond just sportsmen and hikers need to band together to fight this. Make anyone and everyone you know aware of it before they sneak it in and push it through and sell off public lands that’ll never be available to the public again.
@marktree4547 @theliamnissan Americans will pay a shit load of money to bring it up to AF1 status and then trump is taking it with him when he leaves. We are funding trumps new private jet with taxpayer money.
@HeroUrsula@moe_lean@mymymyramona@Babygravy9 This is just the silliest hill to die on. You don’t have to think Bella is beautiful. You don’t have to think anyone is beautiful. You don’t have to buy the magazine or watch anyone’s movies. Why are you letting it get to you so much?
Stephen Miller says the White House is looking into suspending habeas corpus, which protects people from unlawful detentions: "A lot of it depends on whether the courts do the right thing or not."
Trump: "I don't think a beautiful baby girl that's 11 years old needs to have 30 dolls. I think they can have three dolls or four dolls ... they don't need to have 250 pencils. They can have five."
Two former Wells Fargo executives were fined $8.5M by the Biden administration for covering up the bank's infamous fake account scandal.
Trump just slashed those fines to a paltry $150,000 after Wells Fargo gave $1M to his inauguration.
See how this works?
