my first self recorded home demos from 2002 - the backstory to this song

In 2002 i had already chosen to rock the name @gzutek. On the back end of 2001 i wrote 60 songs in 3 months, everyday after school all i would do was absorb myself in the craft.

School was tough, my teacher said i'd never amount to anything 😅 - he was a math teacher so he laid out the "odds" of success in entertainment.

I was shy and struggled to get along with people when i got to highschool.

I had a lot on my plate with family dynamics and parents Separating.

I was kept back to repeat my 5th grade in primary school but the friends that went to grade 6 were still cool with me.

When i hit 6th grade they went to highschool and i didn't hang with them for a whole year and when i got to highschool the connections were lost.

everyone had their cliques and i just didnt fit in any more, the "slow kid" who was too dumb to keep up.

it hurt alot, thats probly why i just decided to isolate and focus on art and express myself.

my first lot of work was embarrasing years after because it was so raw, but today when i listen to it i'm happy, proud and happy with my attempts. lowkey gotta say after 24 years i think after 25+ years i can look back and see the growth.

and especially in the ai world now theres something beautiful to see how raw persistence and dedication can actually become a talent and skillset, something i don't think future generations will get to experience.

Today I'm back building my artist-to-peer streaming platform. Gated behind Bitcoin (Lightning/on-chain) payments via BTCPay Server.

Open-source (media server + custom webhook magic) on a VPS → artists/content creators offer exclusives, subs, or gated access direct-to-fan, no legacy silos.

Wanted this for years. AI-assisted coding + @BtcpayServer + open-source growth made an MVP possible.

Still need to squash bugs & test adaptive streaming, but core flow works: pay → user is generated

Legacy platforms are fine for reach, but you don't control pricing or risk shutdowns. This empowers sovereignty on a Bitcoin standard.
