@Mattlikesfilmz This I think was one of the biggest missteps of the show, even though I liked it overall. If they fleshed out Hal’s development while he was in prison, ALONG with bernadette and her relationship with Hal, it would’ve massively improved both characters
@Mattlikesfilmz Obviously there’s still a chance they may explore it bit by bit in future seasons, but considering the writers room is stacked with different people I doubt we’ll get much Hal anyway.
@VegetaIV He doesn’t portray animosity because he understands that it was an impulsive decision, and she said she’d turn herself in. John also empathizes himself with Noah which is why he DOESN’T want to kill him
@TheJollyChap I’m kinda sad that Chibnall and Russel really pushed the series to this. As much as the chuds cried, the past 2 doctors were really let down by their writers
Gonna feed into the hopium that one day we get the show and character back with a passionate, capable showrunner
@Kid_Kinobi@papaindies I want to ask you this in good faith and not to be condescending whatsoever; Why do you have a problem when some characters in a story (that are aware they did a bad thing) "gets off consequence free" How does that make the story bad? She SAID she would turn herself in
@NeapolitanTsar That shit exists??????
Barb and Coop's relationship and plotline in S2 was one of the only things I liked about the show 😭 Pairing him up with fucking LUCY bruh fuck the internet
@theeharperz@MCUWasNeverGood I could apply this statement to Netflix Daredevil too, with how they adapted the hand and Elektra. This whole comment about "embarassed about comic booky stuff" makes no sense when the show actively chooses to incorporate and work around existing lore
@papaindies Show dont tell is about showing a character being sad instead of them saying they are sad. It has never been about showing every single action in the plot, that is literally the opposite of what the concept suggests. It's about doing more by doing less and being less explicit
