#MAMI students took part in winter school Hands on Microfluidics organized by the Microfluidics Cluster UPV/EHU. Examples of the projects: paper and 3D printed microfluidics, cells on a chip, polymer fabrication of microfluidic devices. #H2020#ResearchImpactEU#MSCA#research
#MAMI takes care about the #environment. During the symposium organised by the Microfluidics Cluster UPV/EHU participants were given plastic free name tags with seeds of flowers to be planted afterwards. #recycle#green
The latest #MAMI workshop “Magnetism and Life” took place at the recently opened House of Science of @lvuniversity
Scientists from the MaMi network and experienced researchers from all around the world shared their perspectives on how magnetism and life are connected @EU_H2020
Three students of the MAMI project from Latvia, France and Ireland are currently working at the microfluidics cluster under the supervision of Professor Basabe-Desmonts and Professor Benito.
They recently had a meeting to exchange knowledge and impressions about the project.
Dr. Sasha Cai Lesher-Perez, Marie-Curie fellow from Elvesys, recently gave a seminar on "Organ-on-a-Chip" at the Microfluidics Cluster (UPV/EHU). His student, Emma Thomee, just started her secondment over there and will be staying for three months. @EU_H2020@H2020Mami
Aigars, early career researcher at the University of Latvia, presented his research at the start of his secondment at the University of the Basque Country. More info, here: https://t.co/pkrCKviUk4 @H2020Mami@H2020Projects
Vahid, one of the PhD students of the network, joined the Seminar on “Physics and Physiology of Motile Cilia” that was held in Physikzentrum Bad Honnef, Bonn, Germany (January 27-30th). It was a good opportunity to learn a lot about cilia!
First workshop of the MaMi project held at the Institut Josef Stefan (Slovenia) where all the ESRs met for the first time and learnt about how to conduct a successful PhD! Good luck to all of them!
