Wincing at the yell, Lila shrunk back into her seat.

Pausing, Lila pulled her phone out of her pocket.

Pausing, Lila reached into her backpack to pull out her water bottle.

Pausing, Lila found herself watching Yelena’s gaze.

Ice cream now finished, Lila let out a soft sigh.

Brows furrowed, Lila returning most of her attention to her ice cream.

Letting out a sigh, the teenager blew some hair out of her face.

“It does matter what I do. Ignoring them only makes it worse.”

Lila found herself returning her attention to Yelena, focusing on eating her ice cream.
